As President and Managing Partner of CIO Partners, Joe Gross leads the company and is responsibile for the strategic implementation and execution of recruitment best practices for the firm's client partners. Under Joe's stewardship, CIO Partners has been recognized by Forbes as the top executive search firm with a 100% niche in technology leadership engagements and ranked number one by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a Best Place to Work. Previously, Joe served as COO for the firm while effectively managing, improving, and scaling all company operations.
Prior to joining CIO Partners in 2015, Joe managed client engagement and talent acqusition for Recall Information Management, a $2B global leader in document management, digital solutions, and data protection. Earlier in his career, he held multiple leadership roles with HRworks, an executive search and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) firm that served a diversified $1M-$50B client base. Joe began his career in the technology sector as a professional recruiter and progressed quickly into an account executive and branch manager role for a national IT consulting firm.
Joe is a member of North Point Community Church and actively volunteers his time for service in his local community. Under his leadership, CIO Partners annually tithes 10% of company profit to charity.

H. Michael (Mike) Burgett
Founder & Executive Advisor
As an accomplished Chief Information Officer and technology consultant, Mike Burgett founded CIO Partners in 2001 with the belief that building deep relationships and aligning candidates to the strategic vision and unique culture of a client's organization would result in a more effective recruiting process at the executive level.
Prior to founding CIO Partners, Mike was the CIO for a $1B private Fortune 500 company. There, he led the technology strategy for a corporate IT organization and implemented a customer-first and metrics-driven delivery model. Mike began his career as a systems engineer with the global technology company Electronic Data Systems (EDS), serving as a delivery leader and consultant within the automotive engineering and manufacturing industry for General Motors.
Mike is an active volunteer with Kidz2Leaders, which provides mentorship, training and programs for at-risk teens. He is also a member of Roundtable CEOs, a faith-based organization of CEOs and entrepreneurs. His other entrepreneurial endeavors include The National CIO Review®, CIO Professional Network®, Talentric®, IT LeaderBoard®, BURGATE, and Burgett Enterprises. His companies have been collectively recognized eight times as an Atlanta Business Chronicle Best Place to Work and honored six times on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies. All corporate entities tithe 10% of company profits to charity.
