With over 30 years of experience in the technology sector, Mike Burgett brings a wealth of hands-on experience to his global clients and to his local community. Prior to founding CIO Partners, Mike was the CIO for a $1B private Fortune 500 organization. There, he led technology services from an operational perspective and was able to customize and implement a process-based approach and customer service within a corporate IT organization. Mike began his career as a systems engineer with the global technology consulting company Electronic Data Systems (EDS). As a technology consultant within the automotive engineering and manufacturing industry for General Motors, he honed his technical ability and developed a strong sense toward process and project management that defines him to this day.
Mike is an active volunteer with Kidz2Leaders, which provides mentorship, training and programs for at-risk teens. He is also a member of Roundtable CEOs, a faith-based organization of CEOs and entrepreneurs. His other entrepreneurial endeavors include The National CIO Review®, CIO Professional Network®, Talentric®, IT LeaderBoard®, BURGATE, and Burgett Enterprises. His companies have been collectively recognized eight times as an Atlanta Business Chronicle Best Place to Work and honored six times on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies. All corporate entities tithe 10% of company profits to charity.

As president of CIO Partners, Joe Gross leads the practice development organization and the strategic implementation and execution of recruitment best practices for the firm's client partners. Previously, Joe served as COO for the firm while effectively managing, improving, and scaling all company operations.
Prior to joining CIO Partners in 2015, Joe was the southeast U.S. regional sales leader for Recall Information Management, a $2B global leader in document management and digital solutions, secure destruction, and data protection. There, Joe and his team were annually recognized as President's Club recipients. During his six-year tenure at Recall, Joe also served as staffing manager for North America. From 2002 to 2010, Joe held multiple leadership roles with HRworks, an executive search and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) firm, where he was instrumental in the development and execution of a flexible, scalable recruitment solution that served a diversified $1M-$50B client base. Joe began his career in the technology sector as a technical recruiter and progressed quickly into an account executive and branch manager for an IT consulting firm with a national reach.
Joe regularly volunteers his time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlanta, the Hopewell Youth Association, and the Alpharetta Youth Basketball Association.
